London Build Expo 2023: Innovations, Trends and Valuable Meetings

November 30, 2023
London Build 2023

London Build Expo 2023 is now behind us, and as a BIM ALLY company, we had the pleasure of being part of this fascinating event as visitors. This fair, which for years has been an arena for the latest achievements in the construction industry, also this year provided us with unforgettable impressions, new inspirations and valuable meetings.

BIM on the Wave: Trends and Technologies

One of the main topics of the fair was the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology, which is quickly becoming an inseparable element of the design and implementation of construction investments. Our company had the opportunity to participate in numerous presentations devoted to the latest solutions and technologies related to BIM.

Innovative tools for modeling, data analysis and effective cooperation between various entities involved in the construction process were the main focus. We saw presentations of the latest BIM platforms that facilitate the integration of various project stages, which translates into efficiency and shortening the investment implementation time.

Thematic Block: Manufacturers’ Perspective in the BIM Context

An invariably important element of the fair was the thematic block devoted to the producers’ perspective in the context of BIM implementation. We perfectly understand how important it is for construction manufacturers to remain competitive in an environment where BIM is becoming the standard. Presentations and discussions focused on strategies for implementing BIM in production, the benefits of this process and specific examples of successes of companies that have opted for modern technologies.

London Build 2023 featured a number of conferences covering a variety of topics. Here are some of them:

  1. The Future of Construction – discussions on the future of the construction sector.
  2. BIM and Digital Construction – discussion of the latest trends and technologies in the field of building information modeling (BIM) and digital construction.
  3. Fire Safety – discussion of issues related to fire safety in construction.
  4. Sustainable Development – discussions about sustainable construction practices and their impact on the environment.
  5. Diversity and Inclusion – discussion of issues related to diversity and inclusion in the construction sector.

We note that Polish manufacturers, planning to implement BIM models of their products, have great potential to gain valuable experience and inspiration from an international perspective.

Meetings with clients: Priceless Value

One of the main values of our participation in London Build Expo 2023 was the opportunity to talk directly with our current clients from the UK. Stories about their experiences, challenges and successes were an invaluable source of information for us. Legislative changes, often resulting from natural disasters, play an important role in shaping the local construction market. Thanks to conversations with our clients, we gained a deeper understanding of the current situation and the direction in which the industry is developing.

Summary: London Build Expo on the Must-Do List

London Build Expo 2023 certainly deserves to be included on the list of must-see events for everyone involved in the construction industry. It is not only an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge about the latest trends and technologies, but also a great platform for establishing business relationships and exchanging experiences. It is worth being part of this dynamic environment that inspires the development and improvement of industry practices.
