Report from the Designing the Future conference

April 19, 2024

The Designing the Future conference is a cyclical event promoting BIM solutions. This is an event of the highest substantive and organizational level. The organizers focus on practical issues important in the everyday work of designers, architects and contractors. It is a great place to exchange knowledge and experiences related to BIM.

We are proud that we could once again participate in this conference. Our joy is double because, as a substantive partner of this year’s edition, we presented, together with Paneltech, BIM TOOLBOX PANELTECH, the solution we talked about during the speech entitled “Sweet facades: A piece of BIM cake from a manufacturer of sandwich panels for designers.”

During the speech, Norbert Lewko, our BIM Director and member of the BIM ALLY management board, presented how, together with Paneltech, we managed to create BIM models for 250,000,000 product combinations. He also talked about how automation saves us time and how we can meet challenges in façade design by using effective tools and technologies supporting design.

BIM TOOLBOX PANELTECH is a solution consisting of 3 elements:

Paneltech BIM platform – thanks to which it is possible to view and download BIM models of sandwich panels and sheet metal workings

BIM models – generated in real time on the platform

BIM Paneltech plugin – enabling the use of BIM models directly in Revit and providing a number of advanced functions that increase design possibilities

At our common stand in the Expo zone, together with Paneltech, we had the opportunity to discuss the jointly developed solutions in more detail, answer troubling questions about BIM and provide all information about Paneltech products.

During this year’s edition of Designing the Future, we managed to establish many valuable contacts and talk to industry specialists. The possibility of exchanging knowledge, views, experiences and joint networking allows for building a community that supports the development of BIM technology and allows us to jointly build a modern face of the construction industry.

We would like to thank Paneltech for their cooperation and joint participation in the event.

We would also like to thank all participants and organizers for the opportunity to talk and meet.

See you next year!

BIM ALLY TOOLBOX will equip your company with tools and services, thanks to which you will be able to effectively manage cooperation with both current and newly acquired designers.
